The Tone Daddies pride themselves on being an extreme variety band, playing lots of originals and classic covers. Their original songs, including “Pasale” have received lots of airplay throughout New Mexico.
Band Members include Mike Campos plays an ancient, held together by electric tape, Hofner bass, vocals, songwriting, arranging and sound engineering. Mike is a New Mexico Music Award Winner for his album, Mike Campos & Friends. Mike Layden plays his iconic 1968 Fender Jazz Master lead guitar, cheap Mattel toy like keyboards, and high end vocals. He went to Vietnam two times, and came back two times. New member Perry Candelaria on his famous DW drum set. Heavy equipment operator,,, claims he built Rio Rancho,,,, and off the grid, Placitas Cumbia King. Paul Pino on rhythm guitar, vocals, songwriting, arranging, and,,, paper work,,, actually a very funny guy if people would only listen.
