Dick Orr has been in the music business all his life. He started playing gigs in his teens, worked at Lucetti Music for 25 years where he gave music lessons, ordered stock, learned about sound engineering and acoustic modeling and design.

He became a recording engineer for John Wagner Studios in 1990 and is there to this day.  All the while that he held jobs in the industry he continued to gig with groups, sit in on recording sessions and sing and harmonize in many vocal groups. He has an insatiable curiosity and will play any instrument, try vocalizing in any situation and give advice and lessons to anyone wanting them.  Contact: dickorrelse@gmail.com

Sounds of Central New Mexico is hosted by Bill Cochran, a musician with the Tijeras-based band, Reverend E & The Vagrants.
