​MINUTES OF KXNM BOARD OF DIRECTOR’S MEETING
TUESDAY, JULY 19, 2016
 
PRESENT: Art Swenka, Bill Simms, Norm Onarheim, Jo
                     Onarheim, Pat Lincoln, John Griego, Barbara
                      Kinney, Dixie Swenka
NOT PRESENT:  Matt Page, Rhoda Geduld, Ladd
                       Hagmaier, Blake Williams, Randy Wright
 
The meeting was called to order by Art Swenka, President, at 3:10 PM.
 
The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all.
 
A quorum was present.
 
John Griego made a motion to accept the Agenda and
Pat Lincoln seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
 
Jo Onarheim made motion to accept the minutes from the May 17, 2016, meeting and John Griego seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
 
Art gave a short update on the transmitter.  It is set in
place at the tower and all electricity is connected.  Blake
and Don Davis will put the rest of the transmitter together.  Not sure of a date yet. Will complete as soon as possible.
 
Blake not present for programming Report.

Bill Simms gave report.  The transmitter went down on the 4th of July and Art and Dixie went down to the station to see if it could be fixed from there.  Unable to
get going so we went to the tower and couldn’t get it
going there, then we called Bill for his help and he had
his sons visiting and his son Matthew is quite the
“expert” and was able to get it going and it is still going.
Thanks for all the help.
 
Art asked for clean up date for cleaning around the
Studio.  Wednesday, July 27th @ 7:30 AM was agreed
upon.
 
John Griego gave the treasurer’s report…We have a
Net Income of $18,188.72.
 
Randy Wright not present but Art said the Grant has been turned in and the financial part has been approved
and sent on to the next part of the grant procedure.
 
Dixie brought up trying to get some training on the
Simian and Natural Log programs.  Need to find someone who will do it for us.
 
The next meeting is August 16, 2016 @ 3 PM.
The meeting was adjourned at 4 PM.
Cake and ice cream was served for Elizabeth’s birthday.
