Archaeology in Your Backyard

Archaeology in Your Backyard focuses on New Mexico's unique historical past from early man to modern times by telling stories about little known people and events that took place here in our backyard. These stories cover interesting facts and legends about the past and people who lived in the Estancia Valley and surrounding areas of Central New Mexico.
The show is produced by Bill Simms, in association with the Torrance County Archaeological Society (TCAS). Archaeology in Your Backyard airs exclusively on KXNM every Monday at 1 pm, Tuesday at 7 pm, Wednesday at 10 am and on Saturday at 4 pm.
KXNM archives all locally produced programs as MP3 files, allowing you to listen to your favorite KXNM shows whenever you choose. If you experience any problems with the archives, please email info@kxnm.org. Help support our efforts to archive programs by making a donation to KXNM.
